The Schoolhouse Theater is at 3 Owens Road, just off Route 22 in Croton Falls.    “The success of our first two comedy nights has shown us how excited the community is to be able to see professional comedians without having to venture into New York City,” said Schoolhouse General Manager Quinn Cassavale.   Organized in conjunction with Shaun Eli of Liberty Comedy, the comedy night will feature professional comics Karen Bergreen, J-L Cauvin and Eli.

A mother of two small boys, Bergreen does stand-up in order to get out of the house. She has appeared on Comedy Central, The Oxygen Network, Nick Mom, “The View” and “The Joy Behar Show.” Bergreen is also a novelist. Her 2010 comic novel "Following Polly" earned praise from The New York Times and Oprah Magazine. Her second novel "Perfect is Overrated" was released last summer.   Eli, a Scarsdale native, has been called one of America's smartest comics. Whether it's a story about dining with a vegetarian or successfully fighting a parking ticket, Eli proves that there's hilarity in the ordinary if you approach life with a comedic warp.     After graduating from Williams College, Cauvin began his stand-up career in Washington, D.C., when he was a law student at Georgetown. While an assistant district attorney in the Bronx, he impressed fellow comedians in New York City with his power suits and health insurance. Having appeared on “The Adam Carolla Show” and “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” he has also made a name for himself with sketch videos, notably “Louis CK Tells The Classics.”   Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online at www.schoolhousetheater.org or by phone to 914-277-8477.
