Following several sold-out performances in its stand-up comedy series, The Schoolhouse Theater has scheduled three new comics for LoHud Comedy Night.

Organized in conjunction with Oliensis, the comedy night will feature professional comics Simon Khatri, George Saltz and Tony Jackson. Collectively, they have honed their craft on Broadway Comedy Club, on late night television and comedy clubs across the U.S. and Canada.

Drawing from his unique insights as an East Indian-American and a psychiatrist, Khatri brings a distinctive perspective to his standup comedy. He has appeared on the "Laughs" television show and been featured in The New York Times. He performs regularly in New York City, and has made audiences laugh throughout America, Canada and India.

Saltz is a retired clinical psychologist who grew up in the Hasidic community of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He started doing stand-up comedy in 2014, but has cracked jokes his whole life. Saltz cut his performing teeth at the Gotham Writers comedy workshop. Saltz’ upbringing and profession are the basis of his routines.

Jackson considers himself to be the black nerd of comedy. Originally from Texas, Jackson is a software engineer by trade. He did his first stand-up open mic in 2011 and has not looked back since. He’s appeared at Gotham Comedy Club and on MTV, NBC and Comedy Central.

Tickets for Comedy Night at the Schoolhouse are $20 and may be purchased here or by calling 914-277-8477.

Early ticket purchase is recommended.

The Schoolhouse Theater is at 3 Owens Road, just off Route 22 in Croton Falls.
