Goldens Bridge Hounds Presents Its First 2014 Event Spring Hunter Pace

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Goldens Bridge Hounds will present its first event of 2014, the Spring Hunter Pace in North Salem on Sunday, June 22, in addition to a variety of events throughout the year.

A schedule and breakdown of events is below.

GBH Spring Hunter Pace: Gates open at 8 a.m.  Sunday, June 22. The event will take place on Baxter Road in North Salem. Horses and riders can begin the season by riding through North Salem. Fee includes lunch under the tent. Western riders are welcome and will be placed in the pleasure division. Prizes will be awarded to the members of each winning team in all three divisions by Jamie Manning of Manning Saddle Restoration. For more information and for registration forms, click here.

GBH North Country Pace: Sunday, Aug. 17, takes place at GBH's North Country Hunt area. Jumps and go-arounds with a buffet lunch is included.

Goldens Bridge Hounds Hunter Trials: Sunday, Sept. 28, an old-fashioned outdoor country horse show features a variety of classes set on grass and cross-country plus the foxhunter lead-line class. Ribbons and Trophies will be distributed. Top three class winners eligible to compete in “mock” hunt for grand championship title. Country Lunch is provided and  the“Puppy Auction” will take place.

GBH Fall Hunter Pace: Sunday, Nov. 9 - Takes Place in North Salem. Pace offers natural, stone and cross-country jumps with go-arounds and a tent to welcome you back where a fabulous hot lunch awaits.

GBH Pony Club Pace: Sunday, Nov. 16. Takes place at North Salem Hunt Country. A natural jump course and easy to find go-arounds for riders of all ages and offers lunch under the tent.
