Houston Person Quartet Returns To Schoolhouse Theater In Croton Falls

CROTON FALLS, N.Y. – Legendary jazz musician Houston Person and his quartet return to The Schoolhouse Theater on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. to present its 28th Annual Winter Jazz Concert.

A world-renowned jazz tenor saxophonist, songwriter, bandleader and record producer, Person has recorded more than 75 albums since the 1960s. A recipient of the prestigious Eubie Blake Jazz Award, Person’s style ranges from hard bop to swing, but it is jazz for which he is most widely known. Person has played with some of the greatest performers in the world, including Johnny Hammond, Etta Jones, Lena Horne, Lou Rawls, Horace Silver, Dakota Staton and many others.

A newly transformed sound system, upgraded by audio expert Daryl Bornstein, is sure to add to the listening pleasure of this year’s concert goers.
