Francis Close Andrews created the collection over a century ago. The skirts, coats, hats and other accessories were hand-stitched and is true to the style of the early 1890’s.
“The society is very pleased to receive this amazing collection," Cynthia Curtis, president of the NSHS. "It represents a period in our history, when families spent their leisure hours using talent and creativity that inspired future generations. We will cherish this collection.”
