You can drop off your items at the Keeler Library, located at 276 Titicus Road, North Salem, between Thursday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 23.

Books, VHS tapes, CD's, kitchen appliances and outdoor toys or furniture are not accepted.

Other activities at the library include Alan Sklar reading  Dylan Tomas' "A Child's Christmas in Wales" and O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi" on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.

Alan Sklar has been a freelance voice actor for over 20 years. He has read over 200 audio books and done many radio and TV commercials as well.

These stories  may be difficult for young children to sit through.

The library also offers a new fall gardening video featuring conversations between landscape designer and lecturer Page Dickey, and Pam Pooley, author and managing editor of "Balanced Rock". She is also the leader of the library's writer's group.

The video was filmed at the high school community garden plots, designed by Ms. Dickey.
