NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Storyteller Alan Sklar returns to North Salem's Keeler Library on Sunday, Dec. 8 to read "A Child's Christmas in Wales" by Dylan Thomas and "The Gift of the Magi" by O. Henry.

Sklar has been a freelance voice actor for more than 20 years. He has read more 200 audio books and done many radio and TV commercials as well.

These stories  may be difficult for young children to sit through.

The library is also seeking donations of new, unwrapped toys and books for Toys for Tots, the Marine Corps Reserve Foundation that delivers gifts to less fortunate children for Christmas.

Also at the library, Girl Scout Troop 2951 is sponsoring a visit from Frosty the Snowman on Wednesday, Dec.18 and Thursday, Dec. 19 from 3:05 to 4:05 p.m.

Your child can take a picture with him, decorate cookies and play games.

Sign up for this after-school program by emailing Kathy Daigneault by Monday, Dec. 9. Admission is $7. Checks should be made out to GSHH 2951.

The library is at 276 Titicus Road, North Salem. For more information call 914-669-5161.
