Cavalieri will focus on the many techniques used in making his art. These include painting, silk-screening and air brushing glass.
He will show slides of the process, from the beginning sketches all the way to the final instillation of the work, as well as a live silk-screening on glass demonstration for the guests.
Cavalieri will also talk about, and show images from the many artist residencies he has done around the world.
The 2 p.m. event is free with paid admission to the museum, 28 Deveau Road, North Salem, N.Y.
