Meet Glass, Silk Screen Artist At Hammond Museum Talk

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- A Gallery Talk with glass Artist Joseph Cavalieri is offered Saturday, May 7 at the Hammond Museum Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden in North Salem.

An artist whose work involves silk-screening and air brushing glass, will give a talk Saturday, May 7 at Hammond Museum in North Salem.

Cavalieri will focus on the many techniques used in making his art. These include painting, silk-screening and air brushing glass. 

He will show slides of the process, from the beginning sketches all the way to the final instillation of the work, as well as a live silk-screening on glass demonstration for the guests. 

Cavalieri will also talk about, and show images from the many artist residencies he has done around the world. 

The 2 p.m. event is free with paid admission to the museum, 28 Deveau Road, North Salem, N.Y.
