"Steven required lots of blood in a strong attempt to save his life," the announcement states. "The blood products he received were available due to the generosity of strangers."
The blood drive is scheduled for Sunday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at the ambulance corps building, which is located at 14 Daniel Road in North Salem
