Ruth Keeler Libary Hosts Children's Events

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is hosting events for children in February and March. 

A schedule of events, times, and locations is below.

"Apps" by Appointment: Apps for special needs and all kids. Please call 914-669-5161 or email keelerlibrary@wlsmail.org and make an appointment with experts, Cathleen Sulli or Lauren Gray, to explore these apps on the library's iPad and Kindle.

Sensory Story Times for Special Needs Kids and Teens: A family-oriented program for children of any age who have trouble sitting still. Tuesdays at 4 p.m. on Feb. 11, March 11 and April 8. Registration preferred but drop-ins welcome.

Celebrate Chinese New Year: Kids of all ages. Games, crafts, snacks. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 4 p.m.

Tuesdays Story Time, Mother Goose for babies to 2-year-olds 10:30 a.m.

Crafts 4 p.m.

Wednesdays Story Time 10:30 a.m. preschool stories for kids 2-year-olds and up.

Crafts for little ones 11 a.m.

Block Party 11 a.m. play and build with blocks

Thursdays Books and Puppets with Elizabeth 10:30 a.m. for kids 2-year-olds and up.

Fridays Legos from 1 p.m. to  5 p.m.

Origami from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with Lily Davis from NSHS

Saturdays Family Story Times 10:30 a.m. for kids of all ages

Bilingual Spanish/English stories and songs with

Barbara Crespo Cohen on Feb. 1 and Feb. 15, plus games and other fun activities all day every Saturday.

President's Week Vacation Activities:

Presidential Scavenger Hunt: Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.  For kids of all ages. Registration preferred but drop-ins welcome.

Lego Castles: Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. Children can build lego castles at the library. 

Movie: Robin Hood, Thursday, February 20 at 3 p.m. Art with Teens Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m.
