New Jersey native Randolph, named by “Rolling Stone” magazine as one of the “100 greatest guitarists of all time,” is the headliner of a fundraiser to benefit the Rye Youth Council.
The concert is set for Friday, Nov. 18, at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester.
The pre-concert party starts at 7 p.m. There will be an open bar, food and a silent auction.
Other band members include: Marcus Randolph on drums, Lenesha Randolph (vocals), Ray Ray Randolph (bass) and Brett Haas (guitar).
Organizers decided not to hold the live auction this year so people can have more time to socialize.
The nonprofit offers social and emotional support to children and teenagers through school- and community-based programs
The theme for this year's event is “Celebrating Character, Integrity and Community.”
“Last year’s big turnout represented such support from our community", said the council's board president Lisa Dominici. "People definitely enjoyed the relaxed, fun atmosphere of the beautiful and hip Capitol Theatre.”
Dominici predicted that Robert Randolph and The Family Band will have everyone “dancing in the aisles.”
“It’s going to be an amazing night,” she said.
Ticket prices range from $10,000 for a marquee sponsor to $275 for an individual.
