West Point Sax Quartet Coming To North Salem

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – The West Point Saxophone Quartet will perform a program of American music by Philip Glass, David Kechley and others Sunday at Ruth Keeler Library in North Salem.  

The quartet members are professional musicians recruited from the brass section of the West Point Concert Band, which performs at the Military Academy, community concerts, and national and regional conferences, where they are often called upon as clinicians. 

The West Point Saxophone Quartet has also released several compact discs: “Fault Lines,” “Should This Be Found,” and “Abundant Air: Concerto for Saxophone Quartet and Band.”

The North Salem recital will begin Sunday, Oct. 28, at 3 p.m. It is sponsored by Friends of the Ruth Keeler Library, through a grant from the M&T Bank. There is no admission charge.

The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is located at 276 Titicus Road.
