Children’s Events at the Keeler: 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Events begin with Mother Goose Story Time for babies at 10:30 a.m., followed later by the Children’s Craft Hour at 4 p.m. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.
School Violence Prevention Symposium: 4-6 p.m. North Salem Superintendent of Schools Ken Freeston joins a panel of experts to discuss school security. The event tacks place at Manhattanville College in Purchase. R.S.V.P. to linda.putorti@mville.edu.
Chamber of Commerce Meeting: 6-9 p.m. The North Salem and Somers chambers of commerce will host a joint dinner meeting with guest speakers Steve Bender, CPA and Susan Koreza, CPA presenting 2013 Tax Law Changes. "Ask Astorino" Town Hall Meeting: 7 p.m. County Executive Rob Astorino will host a town hall meeting at the Somers Middle School, 250 Route 202, Somers.
Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The North Salem Board of Education meets in the library of the Middle/High School, 230 June Road, North Salem.
Thursday, Feb. 28
Puppets with Elizabeth: 10:30 a.m. This popular event takes place every Thursday at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.
