Nighttime Arts With Maggie Zander: 7 p.m. Maggie Zander’s art class is open to all levels, from beginners to experts. Materials are supplied. It meets every Monday night. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

Children’s Events at the Keeler: 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Events begin with Mother Goose Story Time for babies at 10:30 a.m., followed later by the Children’s Craft Hour at 4 p.m. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Chamber of Commerce Person of the Year: 6:30 to  9 p.m. The North Salem Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner will honor Person of the Year Kurt Guldan. The cost is $39/person for dinner plus a cash bar. Family Stories & Crafts for All Ages: 10:30 a.m. Materials supplied. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Block Party: 11 a.m. It’s the weekly block party at the library. Children of all ages are invited to come and begin construction with Legos, Duplos and other materials. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.
