Monday, Feb. 4

Kindergarten Registration: 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Register your 4- or 5-year old for September kindergarten at the Pequenakonck School. Children must be 5 before Nov. 30. The school is at 173 June Road, North Salem.

Nighttime Arts with Maggie Zander: 7 p.m. Maggie Zander’s art class is open to all levels, from beginners to experts. Materials are supplied. It meets every Monday night. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

North Salem Booster Club: 7 p.m. The club meets in the North Salem High School Home Economics Room, 230 June Road, North Salem.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

Writing Workshop: 11 a.m. Come join a series of writing workshops led by Pam Pooley. All writers (and wannabe writers) are invited to share their work, or desire to write, in a supportive atmosphere. Registration is not required and drop-ins are welcome. This program is free. This event is on the first Wednesday of every month at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet in the library of the Middle/High School, 230 June Road, North Salem.

North Salem Planning Board: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet in the Town Hall Annex, 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Thursday, Feb. 7

Bagels & Coffee: 10:30 a.m. This week, the group will discuss “Past Imperfect” by Julian Fellowes. If you need a copy of the book, call the Ruth Keeler Library at (914) 669-5161. No registration is necessary and drop-ins are welcome. The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is at 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.
