At the Ruth Keeler: 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Children’s events begin at 10:30 a.m. with Mother Goose Story Time, followed at 4 p.m. by the Children’s Craft Hour. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Town Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet at the North Salem Town Hall Annex, 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Board of Education Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet in the Library at the Middle/High School, 230 June Road, North Salem. 

Wednesday, Oct. 10

At the Ruth Keeler: 11 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a block party. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Healthcare for Small Businesses: 6-8 p.m. Trevor Serano will speak on health insurance options for small businesses and individuals. Book Discussion with Local Author: 7:30 p.m. John Steele Gordon will continue the discussion of his book, “An Empire of Wealth: The Epic History of American Economic Power.” Thursday's get-together covers Part Three, “The Emerging Colossus.” No registration is required but the library asks that you reserve a space so they can provide the correct number of books.
