Friday, Feb. 8

Caregivers Coffee & Chat: 10:30 a.m. Moms, dads, grandparents, nannies, au pairs and other caregivers are invited to get together for coffee or tea and meet. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Saturday, Feb. 9

Inventors’ Club: 10 a.m. Learn about the design process, solve problems creatively and see what inventing is all about. The program, led by Eileen Diehl, is geared to children in grades two to five. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem. Registration is required. Call (914) 669-5161. This event has been rescheduled.

Pinkalicious Tea Party: 1 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon tea party with cupcakes and apple juice. It’s for children of all ages, at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem. Everyone is welcome, but RSVP’s are preferred. This event has been rescheduled.

Sunday, Feb. 10

Victorian Valentine’s Day: 1 to 3 p.m. Get the family together to make old-fashioned cards and decorations for Valentine’s Day. It’s at Muscoot Farm, Route 100, 1 ½ miles south of Route 35, Somers.

North Salem High School Drama Club: 2 p.m. The club presents The Princess Bride by William Goldman. The suggested donation is $10. North Salem High School, 230 June Road.

Houseplant Multiplication: 2 p.m. Now that your house plants are thriving, explore different techniques for multiplying them to create a beautiful indoor winter garden. It’s at Lasdon Park and Arboretum, Route 35, Somers.

Talk With the Author: 3 p.m. Local resident Richard Courage will talk about his book, “The Muse in Bronzeville: African American Creative Expression in Chicago, 1932-1950. Refreshments will be served.  It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.
