6th Annual Erin O’Connor Memorial Golf Tournament: 10:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Enjoy a day of golf and stay for an elegant dinner at one of the area’s prestigious golf clubs. Sponsored by Coldwell Banker of Yorktown Heights, the tournament has raised more than $100,000 to help Friends of Karen families. For tickets and information, click here . Drop-in Art at the Library: 7 p.m. Maggie Zander will show you the routes to creative fun. There is no fee or registration, and the basic materials are supplied. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Tuesday, July 24

Heaths & Heathers: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Donald McKay of the Northeast Heather Society will tell you how to cultivate the beautiful Scottish plant, along with tips about pruning, followed by a close look at the Lasdon Heather Garden. The fee is $20, or $15 for Friends of Lasdon. Continuing education credits are possible. For more information and to register call 914-864-7268. Put on Your Own Puppet Show: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Play with puppets and learn to put on your own show. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Town Board: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet at the North Salem Town House Annex, 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Wednesday, July 25

Board Games at the Library: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Play board games, or any other kind of games, all day at the library. The event, suitable for children of all ages, is at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Block Party at the Library: 11 a.m. Budding architects and engineers of all ages can come and build with the library’s supply of blocks every Wednesday during the summer. The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is at 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Drawing Workshop with Maggie Zander: 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. This is the third in an eight-part series of drawing lessons for adults over age 55. Future classes will be held on Aug. 2, 9, 16, 23 and Sept. 6. There is no fee and the library supplies the materials. Registration is required. Call 914-669-5161.
