Monday, Sept. 10

North Salem Lions Club Golf Outing: 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The 45th anniversary and golf outing of the North Salem Lions Club will be held in memory of New York City Fire Department Lt. Vincent Halloran, who lost his life saving others on Sept. 11. The day starts with continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and continues through cocktails and dinner. Tuesday, Sept. 11

American Gold Cup: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. One of the world's most prestigious show jumping events takes place at Old Salem Farm, 190 June Road, North Salem. The show runs through Sept. 16.

At the Ruth Keeler: 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Children’s events start with Family Stories and Crafts. The Wednesday Block Party follows. Children of all ages are invited. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Hammond Exhibit: Noon to 4 p.m. This is the first day of the new exhibit, “Passage to Angkor,” by photographer Kenro Izo. An artist’s reception will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. Admission to the museum and gardens is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors. Children 12 and under are free. Hammond Museum & Stroll Garden, 28 Deveau Road, North Salem.

Thursday, Sept. 13

Little Farmers at Muscoot: 10 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 2 p.m. Children ages 3 and 4 are invited to learn about Muscoot’s farm animals through a hands-on experience.
