SOMERS, N.Y. – The annual carnival for the Somers Lions Club wound up Sunday with a glorious day, a large turnout and a successful fundraiser.
“We used a new company this year, Ace Amusement, and we got glowing reports. Everybody liked them,” organizing Lion Herb Reimann said. The carnival people liked Somers, too. “They said how wonderful our town people are,” he said, “and how polite our kids are. After they used the sacks, they put them back where they found them.”
