Luna, Putnam Humane Society Pet Of Week, Hoping To Meet Her New Family

CARMEL, N.Y. - The Putnam Humane Society announced its most recent Pet of the Week recently, and is hopeful of finding the canine a new, loving home.

Luna is a Boxer/Pitbull mix who loves people, according to the Humane Society.

"We don't understand why she was left abandoned, but she is safe now and needs a family to call her own," the Humane Society's Joanne Colangelo said. "Luna is about five or six years old, and she needs a home with no other dogs or cats. She is silly and fun."

Those looking to adopt are invited to meet Luna at Putnam Humane Society, located at 68 Old Rt. 6, Carmel, and open daily to view dogs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
