Bobo is a brindle retriever the shelter describes as "a total stunner."

While "he's a smart guy who's very friendly, he just likes to take his time and get to know people slowly, since he's a little on the timid side," the shelter adds.

Bobo gets along well with other dogs.

"We think he'd be happiest in a home with a calm, well-adjusted dog to pal around with," the shelter said.  He's a good fit for older kids -- 16 and older -- who understand he's a mellow kind of guy."

To learn more about Bobo or meet him, e-mail trainer@spca914.org. The shelter is located at 590 North State Rd., in Briarcliff Manor. It's open from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.
