Lauter, a wellness educator from Chappaqua with more than 30 years of experience, is on the new lifestyle show, "The Better Man Show, " a syndicated program which airs locally on WCBS on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

"The Better Man Show" features a cast of experts helping guys manage stress, fitness, sex and their life.

"The show discusses topics men will be talking about, but don't often talk about television," Lauter said. "People worry about situations like road rage and insomnia- these are situations that inevitably are going to happen."

On the show, Lauter discusses Mini-Tations, bite-sized meditations that can help people cope with stress like being stuck in traffic or waiting on a long line.

"It's meditations for people on the go," Lauter said. "You can do it in 30 to 60 seconds and have the essence of a full meditation.

The Mini-Tations focus on breathing, allowing people to observe their breath and feel a sense of calm. On the show, Lauter plays "Mindful Dan", who pops up and reminds people of how they can reduce their anxiety by simply making an internal humming sound.

"People really like it," Lauter said. "They really enjoy the Mini-Tations."
