NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The Golden’s Bridge Hounds of North Salem announced its 2014 Paces and Hunter Trials, beginning with the Spring Hunter Pace on June 22 at the Baxter Road Race Track in North Salem. Gates Open at 8 a.m.
The Spring Pace features beautiful North Salem Hunt Country and is the perfect way for riders and their horses to start the season. The entry fee includes lunch under the tent. Western riders are welcome and will be placed in the pleasure division.

North Country Pace, Aug. 17: The North Country hunt area offers distant views, cleared trails and pristine farmland. Only 45 minutes from North Salem, the beauty of this area captures everyone’s attention. The jumps are very inviting, all have go-arounds and a wonderful buffet lunch is included. Hunter Trials, Sept. 28: An old fashioned outdoor country horse show features a variety of classes set on grass and cross-country plus a future fox hunter lead-line class. Ribbons & Trophies. Top three class winners eligible to compete in “Mock” hunt for Grand Championship title. Lunch and the popular “Puppy Auction” are part of the event. Fall Hunter Pace, Nov. 9: North Salem’s Hunt Country provides a spectacular and colorful setting for a lovely Fall event.
