Putnam Arts Council Offers Local Crafts For Sale

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- The Putnam Arts Council is hosting its annual juried showcase and sale, along with “Winter’s Coming,” an invitational fine arts show, from Saturday, Dec. 3, to Sunday, Dec. 11, from noon-5 p.m. in the A. Eric Arctander Gallery of the Belle Levine Art Center.

A special member and VIP preview and reception will be held Friday, Dec. 2, from 3-8 p.m.

The show, featuring works created by artists from in and around Putnam County, will include pottery, art, jewelry, glass, lotions, scrubs, cards and wearables.

Featured artists will be on hand during the weekend.

Admission is free-of charge.

Proceeds from the sale benefit regional artists and the Arts Council. Members receive a 10 percent discount on purchases of $25 or more.

The event is sponsored by Tompkins Mahopac Bank.
