NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Well known and much admired North Salem resident, Jean Sargent Morgan, passed away on Saturday, November 19, at the age of 74.
She was born in New Rochelle on July 24, 1937, graduated from Mt. Kisco High School in 1954 and married David Morgan in Mt. Kisco four years later.
When the couple moved to North Salem in 1963, Mrs. Morgan became very active in town activities and took on many responsibilities at St. James Episcopal Church. She is survived by her son, Douglas Morgan of Westwood, MA, her daughter, Kate Biscoe of Los Angeles, CA, her sister, Judy Snyder of Bath, MI, and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, David, in January 2002.
Funeral arrangements have been made through the Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster (845-279-3615). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26 at 11 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, June Road and Titicus Road, North Salem.
