The North Salem Horse Source

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - It has been said that North Salem has more horses than households. Perhaps it is not quite true, but surely there are as many horse-lovers and nearly as many horse-riders as there are households.

If you fall among the majority, you may be interested in one of the following possibilities:

A unique and peaceful farm in a secluded setting offers roomy, clean, matted window stalls with all day grassy turnout and run-in sheds. There is a large, lighted outdoor arena, a round pen and easy access to the North Salem bridle trails. The barn has a hot water wash stall. Trainers are welcome as well as riders of all disciplines. Stall or pasture board is available. Call 845-475-7100 or 845-279-1000. Speak to Pat.

Full Board with a Cover-All Ring

12 x 12 window stalls are available, along with a riding field, adjacent hills for exercise and miles of North Salem bridle trails. The covered outdoor ring enjoys a greenhouse effect. That is, it is warm, with no distracting roof noise. Included are all day turnout in a grassy paddock and night check with hay and carrots. The owner lives on the property. Trainers are welcome and lessons are available. Call 914-485-1204.
