  • The Baumler Robson Baseball Tournament at Volunteers Park topped the news this week. The tournament involves the community, the friends and families of 11-year-old Jack Baumler and 13-year-old Michael Robson, who were killed after a tree fell on the Baumler family's home in North Salem.
  • The 55th Annual St. James Country Auction on Saturday also topped the news. Hundreds of items, from quality furniture, to antiques, to jewelry and books, were donated to the annual auction set to benefit the church's parish hall.
  • More than $250,000 has been raised already during pool events sponsored by Chappaqua Swim & Tennis Club, Westchester Country Club, New York Athletic Club in Pelham, Mamaroneck's Orienta Beach Club, Coveleigh Club in Rye and Lakeside Field Club in North Salem with Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester closing out the events on August 3.
