Car Goes Over Guardrail, Down Embank In Cortlandt

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Bear Mountain Road has reopened in Cortlandt on Friday after a serious car accident resulted in its closure.

The accident, reported at 9:45 a.m., occurred at Roa Hook Road near the Bear Mountain Bridge.

The vehicle went over the guardrail and down the embankment near the scenic overlook, according to reports.
