Crash Involving Overturned Tractor-Trailer Snarls Morning Commute On I-84

An overturned tractor trailer on the eastbound span of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge on Monday morning, according to News 12 Westchester. 

Eastbound 84 was closed on Monday morning near the Newburgh Beacon Bridge due to an overturned tractor trailer.

The truck lost control and slammed into a concrete barrier around 4:30 a.m. The impact ripped the trailer open and spilled household supplies and liquid petroleum onto Insterstate 84, News 12 Westchester reported. 

The accident kept I-84 closed for a time, but two lanes are now open, News 12 Westchester said.
