Croton Falls Bridge Lane Reopens Following Second Renovation

CROTON FALLS, N.Y. -- The Croton Falls Road bridge is open in both directions again this week following a second round of renovation work.

Both lanes of the Croton Falls Road bridge are now open again following work on the westbound lane.

The bridge's westbound lane had been closed off since June, when the round of work started. During that time, the eastbound lane was converted into a makeshift westbound path.

The previous round of renovation work, which took place last year, resulted in the eastbound lane's closure and a reduction to one-way traffic that was also limited to the eastbound direction.

The bridge is just outside of downtown Croton Falls. It is near the town borders with Somers, Carmel and Southeast.
