CROTON FALLS, N.Y. -- After a nearly six-month hiatus, rehabilitation work for the Croton Falls Road bridge is set to resume.

Starting on Monday, June 8, the bridge's eastbound lane will be closed to traffic, according to an announcement from Westchester County. The affected stretch is between the intersection of Route 22 and the intersection of Routes 202 and 100.

The eastbound lane closure is scheduled to be in place through Sept. 30, the announcement adds.

Last year, rehabilitation work on the bridge resulted in a lane closure; the lane was reopened in December, although the other side of the bridge had yet to be worked on.

The bridge is located just outside of downtown Croton Falls. It is also near the town borders with Somers, Carmel and Southeast.
