NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- A large portion of an airplane believed to have been carrying a South Salem couple when it crash landed last week was raised Sunday from the Titicus Reservoir, according to reports.

The plane, a 1971 Beechcraft Bonanza that crashed into the reservoir about 4 p.m., Thursday, is believed to have been carrying Val and Taew Horsa, longtime owners of the Bangkok Restaurant in Danbury, Conn.

Eric Horsa of Ridgefield, Conn., identified the people onboard the plane as his father and stepmother. Whether their or other bodies were found in the wreckage Sunday was not clear, according to lohud.com.
