NORTH SALEM, N.Y. Four candidates are competing for two town council seats in Tuesday's North Salem election. They are Bruce Buchholtz (R,C,Ind), William Monti (R), John White (I) and incumbent Amy Rosmarin (D-IN-Ind). For more information about each candidate, click on his/her name.
Supervisor Warren Lucas (R,I) and Town Clerk Veronica Howley (R,C,I) are running unopposed.
In the race for town justice, three candidates are vying for two positions Solomon J. Schepps (D,Ind), incumbent Ralph R. Mackin (R,C,IN) and incumbent John Johnston, Jr. (R-IN-C)
The candidates had an opportunity to express their views at a forum sponsored by The League of Women Voters on Oct. 25.
In addition, Westchester County voters will be asked to choose two candidates for New York State Supreme Court Judge from a field of three candidates: Edward Borrelli, Robert M. DiBella and Paul Marx .
The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
