CARMEL, N.Y. -- An unusual sight emerged in eastern Putnam County on Sunday afternoon: the appearance of two massive rainbows in the sky.
Sections of two large rainbows are visible in the sky over Carmel following a Sunday afternoon downpour. The upper rainbow is faded (and barely visible) while the lower rainbow offers a brighter contrast to the background.
