Learn To Speak Spanish At The Ruth Keeler Library

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- If you own a business and found a need to be able to speak basic Spanish, or just want to learn the language, then the Spanish for Beginners class offered by the North Salem Lions Club at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library on Tuesday, Feb. 9, might be the answer.

The program, which began last week and runs for six more weeks from 7 to 8:30 p.m., offers a base for essential listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The course is designed for individuals who have had limited experience in Spanish (none or some high school classes) or native oral proficiency.

Cost is $15 per class, plus the cost of the textbook (about $50). All proceeds benefit the Lions Club.
