Mahopac Homeowner Thankful For Response To Fire

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- The owner of a fire-damaged home in Mahopac expressed gratitude for firefighters' response to the blaze.

Scott Cronin told Daily Voice on Friday that the fire department was "fantastic," and said he was grateful to them.

Cronin declined to comment further about the fire.

Daily Voice previously reported on the fire on Nottingham Way on Thursday night. Providing assistance to Mahopac's fire department, Daily Voice reported, were firefighters from Mahopac Falls, Carmel and Somers.

The home is located in a community called Hunters Run, which is a bucolic, single-family housing development.
