Viewing conditions in the Northeast will be poor at best due to a bright moon. In order to catch a glimpse of the Eta Aquarid, viewers will have to be far removed from any other sources of light pollution like big cities, Business Insider said.

A good substitute for star gazers will be to check out a webcast from the online observatory, Slooh.
