NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- North Salem's Allied Community Enterprises recognized the efforts of two architects at a recent fundraiser held at The Schoolhouse Theater in Croton Falls.

The "Beautiful Dream Award" was presented to Stephen Tilly of Dobbs Ferry, and Duo Dickenson of Madison, Conn., for their work in affordable housing design.

Although the projects exhibited at the event have not yet been built, Allied Community Enterprises hopes that the award will help establish a standard of excellence against which all architects can measure performance when designing projects for the benefit of the community.

ACE is a non-profit organization that develops and advocates for fair and affordable housing.
