North Salem Library Hosting 'Ben's Chess Class' For Kids

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library in North Salem is offering chess classes for elementary school-age children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The sessions, known as "Ben's Chess Class," are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 28 and Wednesday, Feb. 3. Both sessions will take place from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the library.

The class is named after the teacher, who is North Salem Middle School seventh grader named Ben, according to the library.
