NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The North Salem School District announced schools will be closed on Friday due to the snowstorm.

This is the last available snow day for the 2012-13 school year. Additional snow days will be made up from the March vacation, beginning with March 25, officials said.

The Friday and Saturday performances of The Princess Bride have been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday and 8 p.m. Feb. 15.
