Peach Lake Loses Long-time Resident, Ranalli

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Robert Ranalli, of Lake Street in Peach Lake, North Salem, passed away on Friday at the age of 74. He was the owner/operator of Ranalli Landscaping and a resident of Peach Lake for 50 years. Mr. Ranalli was pre-deceased by his wife, Ann, in 2009. The two had met as teenagers at Peach Lake in the 1950s.

Ranalli was a graduate of North Salem High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his son Deno, daughter, Pamela, and grand-children, Talia and Nicholas Ranalli, all of North Salem. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Bigando.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster. A service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Monday, followed by interment at the Peach Pond Cemetery, North Salem.
