SOMERS, N.Y. - On Friday morning at about 4:40 a.m., Somers State Police arrested Andrew Kelly, 24, of North Salem on charges of petty larceny and DWI.
Initially, the police were responding to a complaint from the 7-Eleven on Route 100, Somers, that Kelly had stolen some beer. When police caught up with him on Deans Bridge Road they found him to be intoxicated with a blood alcohol reading of .11%, above the legal limit.
The police also issued uniform traffic tickets, requiring an appearance at Somers Town Court on August 22 at 5:30 p.m.
