The closures, between Route 22 and Route 131, will run from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Friday, Sept. 9, according to the New York Department of Transportation.
Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour, but should expect delays. Drivers are also asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
In addition, speeding fines are doubled in a work zone, so drivers should watch for lowered speed limits.
