Storms Knocks Out Power to More Than 100 In North Salem

Update at 2:45 p.m. NYSEG reports that seven North Salem customers remain without power.

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Severe storms and gusty winds left more than 100 NYSEG customers in North Salem without power Thursday.

NYSEG reports that, as of 10:45 a.m., 119 of its 2,389  North Salem customers had lost electricity. Nash Road was badly hit with more than 25 percent of the outages.

NYSEG estimates that power will be restored by 8 p.m. Thursday.
