Firefighters from several municipalities needed about an hour and a half to control adjacent fires in a barn, barn/garage and nearby woods near I-684 in North Salem on Sunday afternoon.
After the first fire ignited in the barn/garage around 2 p.m., the three-alarm fire spread to an adjacent barn on Hardscrabble Road, just east of Crosby Road, and then to the nearby brush.
No injuries were reported.
