Several days before the arrest, police had received a complaint about four minors who were provided with alcohol by two adult men.

Once the investigation began, Paul Plateroti, 26, and Robert Robinson, 56, both of Mahopac, were identified for allegedly providing alcohol to the four children, according to police.

The men were charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of unlawfully dealing with a child; both misdemeanors. Plateroti also was charged with one count of second-degree sexual abuse for allegedly having sexual contact with one of the minors, police said.

Plateroti and Robinson both were arraigned at the Yorktown Justice  Court and released after each posted a $1,000 cash bail. Both defendants are scheduled to appear June 18 in Yorktown Justice Court.
