Night Time Arts: 7 p.m. This art workshop under the guidance of Maggie Zander invites people of all ages to come for some casual creative fun. Materials are provided and no registration is necessary. The workshop is at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road.

Sen. Greg Ball's Student Transportation Meeting: 7 p.m. Sen. Greg Ball will host an open forum on the issues of school transportation and mandate relief at Kennedy Catholic High School, 54 Route 138, Somers. For more information contact Krista Gobins at 845-200-9716.

Tuesday, April 17

Story Time at Muscoot Farm: 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. People of all ages are invited to stop by and hear different stories of farm adventures. There is no charge.

Planning Board Work Session: 7:30 p.m. The planning board will meet in the Town Hall Annex, 266 Titicus Road.

An Ongoing Campaign, April 9 through April 27 The Second Annual Military Care Package Drive: The North Salem Girl Scout Brownie Troop 1144 is assembling care packages to be sent to men and women serving in Afghanistan. They welcome any kind of entertainment items including board games, playing cards and puzzle books and all kinds of non-perishable snack items such as crackers, chips, dips, cookies and candy.
