Meeting of the North Salem Planning Board: 7:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend the meeting of the board, postponed from July 4. Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Tuesday, July 10

Put On Your Own Puppet Show: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to come and spend the day as a puppeteer. No registration is necessary and there is no fee. Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Rd., North Salem.

Art with Jen: 4 - 5 p.m. Local artist and teacher Jen Armbruster is offering a summer art series for children ages six and up. Each session will focus on creating art by reusing materials found lying around. The program repeats on July 17, 24 and 31. Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Rd., North Salem.

Thursday, July 12

Drawing with Maggie Zander: 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. This the first of an eight-session weekly course geared to adults over 55 and funded by a grant from Creative Aging in New York State Libraries. The library will supply all the materials. Space is limited to 10, so sign up early. Register at the Ruth Keeler Library either in person or by telephone (914) 669-5161. North Salem Zoning Board of Appeals Hearing: 8 p.m. The hearing will be held in the Annex of the North Salem Town Hall, 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.
