NORTH SALEM, N.Y. Cocktails at the Aldrich Museum, puppets at Muscoot Farm and a Northern Exposure meeting are among the events around North Salem this weekend.
Friday, April 6
Cocktails and Art 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Its First Friday at the Aldrich. Get together with friends and meet new people as you enjoy cocktails, hear some good music and get a chance to see some art. Tickets are $15 for nonmembers, $10 for members. The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum is at 258 Main St. in Ridgefield, Conn.
Saturday, April 7
Northern Exposure 10 a.m. - noon. The popular new photography club will convene to renew everyones work and have small group discussions on hot topics, such as lighting techniques, memory cards, histograms and more. E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if youd like to participate. Everyone is welcome. The meeting will take place at the Van Tassell House, 98 Primrose St., Somers.
Sunday, April 8
Punch & Judy 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Fred Greenspans troupe of puppets will entertain children of all ages with a nonviolent performance of Punch & Judy. If the weather is nice, the show will be held outdoors, so bring blankets and dress appropriately. In case of inclement weather, the show will go on indoors. Muscoot Farm is on Route 100, 1.5 miles south of Route 35, in Somers.
